We are delighted to feature in The Good Business Charter’s Good Business Spotlight for our exceptional commitment to young people and local authorities!

Whether you have customers, clients, members, beneficiaries or the public as the people that you serve in running your organisation, they should always be at the heart of what you do.

The Good Business Charter (GBC) believes a responsible business treats people well. It is a mark of respect to treat your customers or beneficiaries fairly and deal appropriately with complaints. Good customer service is also a strong indicator of the culture of your organisations.

Silver Birch Care was the first social care provider and one of the first 20 organisations to join the GBC, gaining our accreditation only six days after the GBC first launched. The GBC spoke with us to explore our proactive efforts in meeting the GBC customer commitment component and communicating our commitment as part of their accreditation, to help inspire other organisations.

We were selected for our clear commitment to our team, young people, and local authorities which we have published here. This includes setting out our commitment to providing the highest standards of support and opportunities for young people to share their views, feedback, compliments, and complaints.

We also request regular feedback from local authorities, so that we can continually look at ways to improve our services. Read the full story on The GBC website now.
