Supporting our young people with school enrolment and work experience

At Silver Birch Care one of our core objectives is to create a supportive environment that helps facilitate each young person’s access to either education or vocational training, and supporting them on to a diverse range of employment opportunities.

We are delighted to announce that a young person in our Eastcote unit has successfully enrolled onto a performance and education project at the Tottenham Green Enterprise Centre in London. He will be attending college on Mondays and Tuesdays where has chosen to pursue music production, and for the rest of the week he will partake in work experience.

We are also pleased to say that another unaccompanied minor from Potters Grove has now started at his new school in Fulham. He will be studying Maths, English, and Science five days a week. You can check out some pictures below of him of him fashionably posing in his new school uniform – David Gandy better watch out!

All the staff at Silver Birch Care are extremely proud of these young people. We all wish them the very best on their new ventures, and congratulate them for setting such a good example to all their other peers. Keep up the good work all!
