Creating a supportive environment that inspires our young people to strive to succeed and be proactive about their future is at the heart of everything we do. We want to give a special shout out to one of our people at our Potters Grove unit for doing just that!

The young person visited Kingston Housing today – unprompted by staff – to enquire about a housing application. After he informed us about his visit, we spoke to Kingston Council to kick-start the online application process and plan to accompany him to the housing office.

In addition to this, we’re delighted to hear first hand from one of our specialist Social Workers that our young person has secured an apprenticeship to become a personal trainer, and hopes to start tomorrow. She said: “I am so proud of him. Your staff have really given him the stability he needed, thank you so much.”

We would like to pass on our sincere gratitude to our Potters Grove team for their outstanding work. The team have really gone the extra mile for this young man, and it’s clearly paid off by helping our young person achieve such a thoroughly well deserved accolade.

Our Senior Care Manager clearly agrees: “He has made outstanding progress and reform since joining the Potters Grove Unit. This is why I love my job, for success stories such as these!”
