Silver Birch Care aims to operate as a socially and environmentally responsible organisation as per our various accreditations including The Good Business Charter.
We are becoming increasingly aware of the importance of reducing our environmental footprint wherever possible, including the installation of Nest Smart Thermostats in our homes, and charging points to facilitate the use of electric vehicles for staff and visitors.
We have also just introduced new specially commissioned SBC branded reusable water bottles in our drive to fight plastic pollution and eliminate plastic usage across the organisation. The bottles have been distributed to all staff members to use, and we are delighted that everyone is supporting the new initiative and doing their bit to help the planet.
